Several things are becoming apparent to us from looking at these pictures. From a technical point of view it’s not that different from what we all know. Clearly it’s using some very nice twin disks and upside down forks up front although the quality that is evident from the close up suggests that this bike is a prototype model and not a production bike. The conventional rear swing arm has probably been utilized to save weight and make it easier to maintain wheel alignment and mount peripheral equipment such as the rear brake mech on the back.

Early suggestions by others and us about changes to rake angle, wheel dimensions etc seem unfounded.

In short we believe that this is just a new Nuova or Nuova development. The twin spar chassis joins the headstock set up to the rear axle set-up, both of which are identical to current design principles, in the same way as the current bike. Radio and motor installation seems the same and if we were building a bike from scratch I would have given a lot of thought to these…..

But hey it looks great. Although its just a remake of the same flawed design its doing it in a much more aesthetically pleasing and realistic way so lets hope they release it soon. I’d buy one!!

Any one who has tried to take this kind of shot will know how difficult it is. The trick is to wait until the bikes aren't moving :-)
