******************************************************************************** ***************************Team Benwell Short Test Report*********************** ******************************************************************************** Test Number: 013 Name: Mark Bennett Chassis: NF502 chassis no. 2 Date: 22-04-02 Time: 17.40 Place: Elm court Weather: Dry, dull and warm Object of test: examine the effects of: a: running rear damper unit without any oil in it b: running bike without crash bars note: these are not the original tests. On arrival at test sight the presence of a pool of oil on the seat of my car lead me to believe that there was a problem, sure enough the rear diaphragm had split and during the day had slowly emptied the entire contents of the damper. the second test was only carried out because I had forgotten to put the crash bars back in after modifications made during lunch break ******************************************************************************** Modifications: steering silicon pinched between collets front steering assembly tightened up ******************************************************************************** Results: What do you think? I decided to run the bike anyway as I was there and out of curiosity. luckily I didn't break too much. The worst thing is my rear tyre is soaked in 6000 wgt silicon
