Rear suspension raised by 1 or 2mm ******************************************************************************** Results: Now we are getting somewhere... This is the first time that both bikes have been together where I can honestly say that we were able to race each other. Although chassis 001 has totally different handling charactaristics, I felt that with a bit of concentration I would be able to keep up. Still very important to slow down in plenty of time for the corner so as not to overshoot the apex, but now the bike is much more responsive, it get's down into the corner much quicker, but more importantly gets out of it quicker. The bike will still do cat3 wobbles out of the slower corners, which almost always turn into big tank slappers. But it is consistant and I know with care they can be avoided. It became apparent that as the test continued the near side crash bar started bending upwards and the bike started "staying down" during a corner much nicer on the this side which would indicate that the length or upward angle (probably the same thing) is more important than we first thought. There is a point however that they become just too short and the bike cant be "picked up" again. More testing on crash bar length is required Things still required: double sided velcro to hold batteries in. longer ariel tube secure rider better stiffer rear rebound spring
