******************************************************************************** ***************************Team Benwell Short Test Report*********************** ******************************************************************************** Test Number: 029 Name: Ian Foxwell Chassis: NF502 chassis no. 1 Date: 25-05-02 Time: 19.50 Place: Travel lodge Weather: dry Object of test: further tests on fork angle ******************************************************************************** Modifications: Lowered steering assemby by drilling further hole approx 5 mm higher than last Rake set at 25deg batteries very slightly lower at rear ******************************************************************************** Results: Im torn. It does definatly turn better at high speed although its not chalk and cheese. However it does this at a massive loss in stability. It is now hard to pick up, bounces on the side guards when lent into a corner gets massive catagory 1 wobbles all the time. Cant drift under power any more and rear occelates up and down (probably as much as anything because of teh wobbles) The only real test is to run it around a track. Definitly isnt worth going to west london. Only sensible testing is going to be down at brooklands
