******************************************************************************** ***************************Team Benwell Short Test Report*********************** ******************************************************************************** Test Number: 038 Name: Mark Bennett Chassis: BD4 03-002 Date: 07-03-03 Time: 10.30 Place: Elm Court Weather: Dry, Dull and still quite warm Object of test: To test theory that the chassis is better than the tyres ******************************************************************************** Modifications: Standard BD4 chassis Kit tyres ******************************************************************************** Results: The cat 2 wobbles that I experienced yesterday were still there, despite the fact that the shock had been rebuilt. As expected, exiting a corner the back would let go nearly every time. Although more predictable (well it would be if it does it every time) a lot of the high sides I was able to catch. Ultimately it would be a lot slower on the track and much more harder to ride. Conclusions: No, kit tyres have had their day. What we need now are some nice (round) super sticky ones. I am still worried about the persistent cat 2 wobbles, - Ian?
