******************************************************************************** ***************************Team Benwell Short Test Report*********************** ******************************************************************************** Test Number: 042 Name: Mark Bennett Chassis: BD4003-02 Date: 17-03-03 Time: 14.45 Place: Barham Weather: Dry, Sunny, quite cold Object of test: To try and soften the BD4 ******************************************************************************** Modifications: Standard BD4 chassis ******************************************************************************** Results: I lengthened both the steering springs to try and make the bike a little less responsive and it worked to a certain degree. When the bike is riden hard it is slightly easier to control. However, get it out of shape and it is still dificult to get back on the straight and narrow Conclusions: I would say that there is currently only a handfull of drivers in the country, who would benefit from this chassis. For the majority of people it will make things worse It would be interesting to compare my laptimes with a standard (easy to ride) bike I would imagine they would be a bit quicker or at the very least more consistant.
