******************************************************************************** ***************************Team Benwell Setup Report*********************** ******************************************************************************** Setup Number: 002 Name: Mark Bennett Chassis: NF502 chassis no. 2 Date: 21-04-02 Time: 15.20 Place: Weather: Document current setup ******************************************************************************** Modifications: Complete front steering assembly lowered 5mm Steering damper has the first Benwell mod (silicon tubing contained in heatshrink) Plus an extra traxxas blue oring Rear swing arm in lowest possible position Batteries in highest position Rear seat body mount originaly lowered 7mm, then moved back to standard position due to dificulty fitting seat. Screw holding Front forks in yolk are only tightish One front wheel nut is very tight. The other is just touching used thread lock to prevent it falling out. Ride height set with batteries completely level. Front forks at max rake position. 4mm crashback stop bolt has been replaced with a 3mm bolt giving extra 1/2mm rake Rear shock has 6000wt oil, hole drilled in cap with standard diaphragm and standard rebound spring Top shock mount using an extra hole directly below the middle standard hole. Front forks with seal and small amount of 40wt oil. Aluminium legs. Receiver tray in upper holes to maintain rear wheel movement, rear screws removed and tray pivoted upwards. Steering has clear sillycone tubing, steering link passes through tubing 25 1/2mm from steering servo axis. Rider figure trimmed and arms now inside fairing, (sometimes) both hands removed. Exhaust pipes fitted Total all up weight with 2400 cells currently 1914 grm...... your steel legs and disk brake (extra servo) make a big difference. ********************************************************************************
